Introducing the Cherry Audio aluminium sub-platter. Precision CNC turned from 6082 Aluminium and manufactured to far tighter tolerances than the standard plastic moulded Rega sub-platter. The spindle is constructed from case hardened Stainless Steel that is an exact size match to the Rega spindle enabling a straight replacement with the original. Each sub-platter is individually checked to ensure compliance to our stringent design specification. The increase in mass and running circularity will improve speed stability, along with wow and flutter. Each sub-platter will come with a small bottle of spindle oil and fitting instructions.
